Privacy Policy

TravelHackz is a small, independent travel blog. This page explains, in plain language, what data touches this site and why.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analyticsto understand which posts get read and roughly how many people visit. It's cookieless and doesn't track you individually across other websites — it only reports aggregate numbers like page views and referrers.
Embedded Players
Podcast episodes on this site are embedded directly from Spotify and Apple Podcasts. When you interact with one of those players, Spotify or Apple may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies — that's outside our control. We only load the player when you visit a page that has one; we don't add any tracking of our own on top of it.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored with our email provider,Buttondown, solely to send you new posts and updates. We don't sell or share your email with anyone else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Partner Links
Some posts link to Keepsmybag, a luggage delivery service we mention because we think it's genuinely useful for travelers to Istanbul. Clicking through takes you to their site, which has its own separate privacy policy — we don't receive any personal data about what you do there.
What We Don't Do
- We don't require an account or login to read the site.
- We don't process payments or store financial information — TravelHackz doesn't sell anything directly.
- We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
